Stella Sakhon, Ph.D.

Dr. Sakhon has a broad knowledge of psychology ranging from social behavior to cognitive neuroscience. She earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in Psychology, Cognition and Neural Systems at the University of Arizona where her research focused on learning, memory, and sleep. Additionally, she contributed to the development of the first iPad memory assessment for special populations which was funded by the National Institute of Health. She also has experience working as a behavioral interventionist providing Applied Behavioral Analysis services to children and families affected by developmental disabilities. Dr. Sakhon manages LooperRoom’s scientific, technological, and research operations. She focuses on how to leverage technology to drive innovative and strategic thinking for the company. Additionally, she works collaboratively with other team members to bridge the field of artificial intelligence and mental health to meet the company’s overall mission. In her free time, she likes to play and watch basketball, complete puzzles, and bake.
